The many cases undertaken by the firm have involved the simplest to the most complex factual situations and sometimes involving complex legal issues.
The firm has particular expertise in the area of medical negligence. These claims arise where a client has suffered injury and loss as a result of negligent treatment by a Doctor or a Consultant or a hospital and its staff. The issues involved in such cases can be very complex and require particular expertise by all concerned on behalf of the client. These cases also involve separate and exacting rules of legal procedure when being undertaken.

Our firm has vast experience in advising on all aspects of estate planning from making a Will to the administration of estates. We are here to advise clients on the most appropriate manner to implement their personal wishes on how to deal with their assets whilst ensuring this is done in the most tax efficient manner. We can advise clients on other matters connected to administering their estates which include Powers of Attorneys, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Probate Litigation, foreign investments and how to deal with these in the context of Irish Law.

Brooks & Company has extensive knowledge and skill in relation to all types of Conveyancing transactions. Conveyancing is the process of transferring ownership of immovable property from one person to another.  The purpose is to ensure the proper disposal and acquisition of the Title to the property involved and to secure the Mortgage of any institutions involved in the process.  Conveyancing can involve various types of property transactions which could be commercial property, residential property, agricultural property or a mix of all or any of them.
